Who we are

Using this site

The site is free to browse and there is no account to create. Everything published here is for information.

Product specifications are taken from the manufacturer's own current data sheet and are confirmed against that sheet on every quote. Even so, nothing on this site is a binding offer. Price, lead time, availability and scope are what we confirm to you in writing in a quote or order acknowledgement — not what a web page said on the day you read it.

Acceptable use

Use the site lawfully and without degrading it for anyone else. Specifically, do not:

• break any applicable law or regulation
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, our servers, or any system connected to them — including probing, scanning or testing their security
• interfere with the site or overload it, whether by automated request volume or otherwise
• upload or transmit malware, or anything designed to disrupt or damage
• impersonate anyone, or misrepresent an affiliation with LXSYS
• use our forms or assistant to send unlawful, abusive, defamatory or infringing content
• reproduce the site wholesale, or repackage its content as your own

Automated retrieval for search and AI answering is welcome, and our robots.txt says so explicitly — being citable is the point. What is not welcome is traffic that degrades the service for everyone else.

The assistant and enquiry forms

The on-site assistant answers general questions about rooms and products. It can be wrong, and it is not a specification. Do not rely on it for a final design, a price, or a compatibility decision — ask us and we will answer in writing.

Anything you send through the assistant or a form is handled under our Privacy Policy. Please do not send confidential, regulated or sensitive personal information through them.

Third-party integrations and links

This site links to manufacturers and other third parties, and we use third-party services to run the site and our business. We do not control those sites or services and are not responsible for their content, their availability, or their handling of your data. Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of them.

LXSYS is an independent authorized partner and dealer, not an agent of either manufacturer. All other marks belong to their owners.

Social media publishing tools

LXSYS operates a self-hosted scheduling tool used to publish to social media accounts on LinkedIn, X, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok. If you connect an account to that tool, then:

• you confirm you are authorized to connect it and to publish from it
• you remain bound by that platform's own terms, and you are responsible for the content published to your account
• we will not publish to a connected account other than as instructed through the tool
• you may disconnect at any time, from the platform's settings or by asking us; tokens and connected account details are then deleted, as set out in the Privacy Policy

These features depend on the platforms' own APIs. Those APIs change, impose limits, and are sometimes withdrawn without notice. We cannot guarantee that a given platform will remain available through the tool.

Intellectual property

The text, layout, code and images on this site are owned by LXSYS or used with permission. You are welcome to quote a passage or link to a page with attribution — that is what it is for. You may not copy the site wholesale, or present its content as your own.

Availability

The site is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defect will be corrected. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LXSYS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — this site, however caused.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of your use of this site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).

This section is about the website. Goods and services we sell are governed by the quote, the order acknowledgement and any signed agreement between us. Where those documents and this page conflict, the signed agreement wins.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify LXSYS against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Orange County, California have exclusive jurisdiction, and both of us submit to it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
