Core 8 Flex
QSC · Processing
Not every source is on the network yet. A wired lectern, a legacy codec or a room PC connects directly here, without a separate interface.
Core Nano assumes every source is on the network. Plenty of rooms are not there yet — a wired lectern, a legacy codec, a room PC. The 8 Flex keeps eight analog channels on the unit itself so those sources do not need a separate interface.
Why we recommend it
Eight Flex channels on board
Analog in or out, configured per channel, plus GPIO. This is the reason to choose it over Core Nano.
64 x 64 networked audio
Q-LAN and AES67, with 32 x 32 network I/O streams. Dante included at 8 x 8 and licensable to 32 x 32.
Eight AEC processors
Echo cancellation per zone, so a divisible room still sounds like one room to the far end.
USB bridging built in
8 x 8 USB audio at 48 kHz, so the room joins Teams or Zoom without an extra bridge.
